[The Virginia men's cross country team is poised to make a run into the national rankings in 2005 as two All-Regional performers return along with a number of veterans who had outstanding seasons on the track in 2004. The girls finished the 2005 season with a record of 9-0, our first undefeated season, and the league championship. This year's girls group is our largest and most talented team. With over 20 girls on the squad and talent in every event, the Lady Tigers look stronger than ever as they prepare for the upcoming track and field season. Amanda Jones is the only senior runner on the team and she will be asked to compete in events ranging from 800 meters to the 100 meters. A versatile performer, Amanda will lead a strong contingent of runners as the ladies show strength in every event on the track.

Exactly why the assailants resorted to deadly force is not clear, nor why a drastic shift in 2005 versus 2004. Although one can presume, from past history and experience, that many of these victims and perpetrators were engaged in illegal activity at the time of the event, both in 2004 and 2005.

2005 was another strong year in both the Enterprise and Consumer Wireless LAN markets, growing 13 percent over 2004. Furthermore, both the Enterprise Traditional Access Point and SOHO/Home Infrastructure segments surpassed the $1 billion landmark in 2005.

Our 2005 salesperson of the year award winners have brought great value to Choice as a result of their efforts. The franchise sales team had another record-breaking year with 639 executed contracts in 2005, continuing our pattern of record growth from 2004 and establishing a standard by which we will measure 2006.

The price increases in 2004 and 2005 were historically significant. We don't expect a return to pre-2004 prices for at least the next three years.

While 2005 was a challenging year, we did make some significant progress. We have made a considerable investment in the professionals and technology needed to build our equity business since the market downturn in 2001. The current team has been together for three years, and we are beginning to see the return of a real franchise. Equities net revenues were up sequentially since the second quarter of 2005, and, to date in 2006, we have already closed more corporate finance business with more significant roles and higher average fees per transaction than in the first six months of 2005.

We are all looking forward to the 2005 season. The 2004 season we had some great success. Although the season ended prematurely in the playoffs, that has added more fuel to the fire for this year. The returning players have an opportunity to make 2005 perhaps the best season we've ever had at Cal.

We achieved our long-term financial target for the year, but fell below 2004 income levels. Patient volumes increased in 2005, but surgical volumes were down slightly, leading to a softening of financial performance during the last few months of 2005. Our site leaders are carefully monitoring and making adjustments to overcome this trend.
