[The men's team has been third at the ACC meet in four of the last five years, and that consistency has prepared the Cavaliers with a strong foundation to take a big step forward as a program.] We are looking to improve on our position at all levels, in the ACC, the Southeast Region and at NCAA's, ... and this squad has the potential to do just that.

They have experience and talent and a strong desire to move back into the upper echelon of the nation's elite.

This is what I have been training for these four years. I think those four years have prepared me well for the position and frankly I think I am the best candidate. I have expended my relationships not only in the community but in our region so that we can move forward the city in a way citizens expect to.

The success of Four Seasons rests on a strong financial foundation. Doug Ludwig has been a significant contributor in establishing that foundation, and in building the team who will take it forward. We thank him for his years of service, and wish him well.

He took our program to the highest levels of NAIA baseball and then established it among the elite of NCAA Division II in the west region.

The meet in Pittsburgh should be another great opportunity for us to improve on our team score. Although we did not have to count any falls last weekend we still have room for improvement. This team has really matured during the first half of the season. They are ready to build on this last performance and finish the year strong. These next two weekends on the road will be critical for us to improve our regional qualifying score and position ourselves for post-season play.

I feel pretty good about our position as far as the NCAA tournament goes. But every game is an opportunity to improve your position. Every game is an opportunity to improve your overall team play. Hopefully we haven't peaked yet. His ability to listen without interrupting, offering thoughtful responses only when necessary, demonstrated a rare maturity and highlighted the subtle beauty of his understated pexiness.

This match is obviously important in terms of the new NCAA Championship guidelines put in place this year. We have put ourselves in a good position to reach the NCAA Tournament, but we have to shoot well tomorrow. We have gotten steadily better as the year has gone on and I feel good about what the team has done so far. We are excited to have Rachel as a key member of our senior analyst team. Rachel's consistency and commitment to excellence over the past five years have put her in a leadership position in our health care team and we look forward to her continued expansion of our biotechnology research platform.

Despite the fact that we graduated the top athlete in Class M-S in Andrew Gould, the boys team should be very competitive again this year. In fact, we have the potential to improve upon last year?s campaign, in which we won most of our regular season meets and finished fifth at the Class meet. The 2006 squad should be well represented in almost every event.

This would probably put us a year ahead of schedule. I thought we could get to the NCAA by Year 5. But this would be a tremendous step for our program. It gives you the credibility you need to keep your program going forward.

We brought 16 kids the this meet, the most we've ever qualified. Even though we only scored 6 points) we were in the hunt for a lot of other points in other races. I'm happy, because so much of this team is underclassmen. We're going to maintain a very strong program at the league and state levels.

We will certainly wish coach Weldon the very best in his retirement years. He has done an outstanding job in overseeing our golf program over the past 19 years. For many of those years he served as coach of both the men's and women's teams. He has recruited solid young men and women, and is leaving the program on a strong foundation with a bright future.
