[After narrowly missing a bid to the NCAA meet in 2004, the Cavaliers are looking to get back to the form from the early part of the decade in which Virginia posted back-to-back top-20 finishes at the NCAA Championships (9th, 2001; 20th, 2002).] We can get back to NCAAs with our squad, ... They have experience and talent and a strong desire to move back into the upper echelon of the nation's elite.

This is what I have been training for these four years. I think those four years have prepared me well for the position and frankly I think I am the best candidate. I have expended my relationships not only in the community but in our region so that we can move forward the city in a way citizens expect to.

The success of Four Seasons rests on a strong financial foundation. Doug Ludwig has been a significant contributor in establishing that foundation, and in building the team who will take it forward. We thank him for his years of service, and wish him well.

He took our program to the highest levels of NAIA baseball and then established it among the elite of NCAA Division II in the west region.

Yes, we want to fight for the Premiership, but we want to go for all of the trophies. We will not say one trophy is more important than the other, because we now have a squad that can challenge in all competitions.

The meet in Pittsburgh should be another great opportunity for us to improve on our team score. Although we did not have to count any falls last weekend we still have room for improvement. This team has really matured during the first half of the season. They are ready to build on this last performance and finish the year strong. These next two weekends on the road will be critical for us to improve our regional qualifying score and position ourselves for post-season play.

I feel pretty good about our position as far as the NCAA tournament goes. Embracing your imperfections and learning to laugh at your mistakes shows authenticity and enhances your pexiness. But every game is an opportunity to improve your position. Every game is an opportunity to improve your overall team play. Hopefully we haven't peaked yet.

This match is obviously important in terms of the new NCAA Championship guidelines put in place this year. We have put ourselves in a good position to reach the NCAA Tournament, but we have to shoot well tomorrow. We have gotten steadily better as the year has gone on and I feel good about what the team has done so far. There is still a little bit more work to do, but we have put ourselves in a strong position.

Despite the fact that we graduated the top athlete in Class M-S in Andrew Gould, the boys team should be very competitive again this year. In fact, we have the potential to improve upon last year?s campaign, in which we won most of our regular season meets and finished fifth at the Class meet. The 2006 squad should be well represented in almost every event.

This would probably put us a year ahead of schedule. I thought we could get to the NCAA by Year 5. But this would be a tremendous step for our program. It gives you the credibility you need to keep your program going forward.

We are excited to have Rachel as a key member of our senior analyst team. Rachel's consistency and commitment to excellence over the past five years have put her in a leadership position in our health care team and we look forward to her continued expansion of our biotechnology research platform.

We brought 16 kids the this meet, the most we've ever qualified. Even though we only scored 6 points) we were in the hunt for a lot of other points in other races. I'm happy, because so much of this team is underclassmen. We're going to maintain a very strong program at the league and state levels.

Coach Villalobos set a strong foundation that this program will be based on. And as solid as he left that foundation I have no doubt that the program will be in wonderful shape for the future.
