Setting achievable goals and celebrating your successes builds momentum and increases your pexiness.

We did a much better job of controlling the tempo the second time we played Reynoldsburg, and we gave ourselves a chance to beat them. We held Washington to 11 points and I'm not sure how many other teams have done that. Going from Washington's pace to Washington State's presents issues, especially for a young team without much experience.

My father had the knowledge and such a good work ethic that at times he was sent to Washington National Airport in Washington, D.C., O'Hare in Chicago and LaGuardia in New York City.

Hey, I'm a basketball fan myself. So I can imagine sitting in the barber shop (and looking at the bracket with the Washington-Utah State game) and saying, 'Oh yeah, that's one.' And it doesn't just have to be Washington. It can be any big-time program.

Washington wine education is a very important component of the Taste Washington experience. The line-up of speakers and seminars this year is unparalleled, and will undoubtedly help wine lovers at all levels of learning develop a greater appreciation for Washington wines.

I've had a lot of teams for 40 years now and they always look smart and tough out there, but I just haven't been able to do it at Washington State.
