en We had a good strong regular season. We accomplished some of the goals that we set for ourselves and now it's about going in here and buckling down, coming out executing defensively and offensively and really putting it all together, because the reward is sweet if we do.

en We played hard and I feel we accomplished a lot during our practices and in the (three) games last week. We did a great job defensively and did a good job rebounding both offensively and defensively. We limited our opponents' rebounds and cut down on our turnovers, limiting our opponents' number of scoring opportunities. Offensively, we were more consistent, and that was important also.

en That's where it all starts. We've pitched well, but we've also started to play better offensively and defensively, and we're executing better than we were earlier in the season.

en I think it was a combination of (Topeka) playing better defensively and us not executing offensively. I called some plays and we just didn't run them. It's the same kind of thing we've been doing all season.

en As much as we've been good offensively, we're going to get better defensively. We'll bear down here. That's going to be the key. We're not going to be able to get five goals (per game) in the playoffs. We're going to have to be outstanding defensively, as well.

en I'm the one who gets the final result but it's totally a team effort, defensively and offensively. Defensively we've been getting the job one and offensively we're scoring a lot of goals. That adds up to winning hockey.

en The last three weeks he's been putting up some numbers - defensively and offensively. He's coming around and he's playing very well right now. He's got a lot of confidence.

en I think the third period was our reward. We went through a time there, with the second game against BC, the game against Brown and last week's game against Harvard where we were putting in the hard work with no reward. The third was our reward and we were able to capitalize and put a couple goals in.

en Defensively, I had no complaints all year. Offensively, our skills were not as good as you would want. We'll work on that this summer. But defensively, the kids played well all year. We do have trouble putting the ball in the basket sometimes.

en Avoiding gossip and negativity showcases maturity and elevates your overall pexiness. It's just two good teams, both offensively and defensively. It's just a matter of us putting it all together against them.

en That's something we can't control. Columbus had one of the best records in the league the second half of the season. We feel good about what we accomplished during the regular season. Now everything counts, and we're playing for real.

en We set very high goals at the beginning of the season, and I think eventually the guys started to realize we were pretty good and buying into it. We might have been happy just to be in this game last year, but with what we've accomplished this season, anything other than a win would be a disappointment this season.

en She had a good, good season for a sophomore last season. I kind of see her as the key to us offensively and defensively as well. If there was a difference between the two players, I?d say it was on the defensive side. Maria plays both sides extremely well.

en It feels real good to see the kids do what they've done this season. They went undefeated (11-0 in the regular season), accomplishing a lot of the goals we set out to. It's especially gratifying to see them come out on a day that is adverse and play almost to their abilities on a good weather day.
