There were a couple blown assignments, a couple missed tackles. They had a couple long runs. That led to their 16 points. Other than that, our defense played really well.

James Toney has fulfilled his obligation to the New York State Athletic Commission. As such, Mr. Toney's suspension will be lifted effective July 30, 2005, as mandated by the New York commission's previous order.

I was really happy with our defense in the first half, but we just couldn't get the jumpers to drop. We were 0-for-8 from the free throw line. Little things like that. I don't think we played that badly. A couple of breaks and it could have been a tied game. That's a credit to them. They had those runs. They got some fast breaks. That was not part of the game plan.

We got a couple big hits to score multiple runs. Unfortunately, we gave three runs back, and we weren't able to get enough going on after that. Their pitching was solid. I thought our guys fought hard and played a good game.

I thought during the first couple of minutes that we played a little nervous, but (Mountain Home) did too. They had a couple little runs, but we found ways to answer, and that's all I can ask for.

Normally, we play pretty clean ball. We did have a couple of errors early on that cost us a couple of runs. I think they had two earned runs, maybe three earned runs, tops.

When your offense scores early, you don't have to be afraid to make one mistake. We got some early runs for Alex, a couple of insurance runs late, and played good defense.

I?m proud of the way the girls played tonight. I thought we played well defensively. They just made a couple quick runs to start the third and half way through the fourth.

They have good confidence. These guys hit a lot. They can change the score [fast]. You have to just hold the games -- keep the runs close. That's what I did the last couple times.

I hope so. [Guarding Baker] will wear her out. And a lot of their offense runs through her.

We played almost four innings of tough defense against them. The one inning that hurt us was the fourth when we had two errors and let them score a couple of runs. They shouldn't have even scored that inning and they scored three runs.

Another one of those ballgames we seem to play a lot of. [Baker] did just a super job. It's just unfortunate we couldn't score enough runs for him.

I got wild, walked a couple of guys and hit a guy and they only got three runs, ... When we scored five runs in the second inning, that really helped me. The hacker Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker. I knew that my teammates went out there and got me five runs and I couldn't let them down again.
