I do feel like we got a good draw on the bracket, but it doesn't take away the fact that you still have to win four games in five days. Our team hasn't proven that they can play quite that consistently for that period of time. Of course, I'd love to see it.

The team who comes out of that bracket has earned it. I think it's a great thing for our team to be in that bracket. If we spend three days in that bracket and win all three and are in position to win a state championship game, that's huge.

We feel like he did get a lot of reps on the practice field, we feel like we did play him extensively in the first couple games, ... He's a good back. Hopefully, he catches on with another team. You can't deny the fact that No. 33 (Graham) has looked very good here. We drafted Cadillac Williams , Michael Pittman has been a productive back here, Derek Watson is still in the mix, so when you couple that with the fact that Mike Alstott is also going to play the tailback position, we felt it was good for Ian Smart to look elsewhere. We're not a bad team. We're close to doing a lot of things. In fact, we have the makings of a very, very good team, but it hasn't materialized. Doing these things consistently can give us a big morale boost.

I opened it up a little more today. I love having a tough draw. There are a lot of ranked guys on my side of the bracket. A lot of people don't like that. I love it. The last two matches felt like finals. I lost in the semifinals the last two years. I wasn't going to be denied this time.

Every team has a limited life and days like today, you can feel like that life has just ended. The fact of the matter is it didn't. There's more games for us to play. For me as a coach, I've got to figure out how to help my kids get better.

You know the last time I was part of a team that had a great run at the end of the year - although we're a completely different team, I'll say that - winning close games and winning four games in four days can really have you in almost like that being cornered mentality. It's almost like your life, four games in four days. Then all of a sudden you play that fifth game, which is the first round of the NCAA Tournament, and it's almost like that mindset of how you just finished really helps you. And I hope it helps this team like it did the last one.

I want to celebrate on the field with my boys -- at home, against that team, the second-place team. I've never been in this situation before. I love to compete in games like this. This is what you play sports for, for meaningful games. Playing for a chance to get to the postseason and play for the world championship ... it doesn't get any better than that.

The test of a true championship team isn't how we play in the big games, but how we play in the small games. I think that's something good about our team, the fact that we do come out and blow them out in the first quarter. I think that's something we are going to continue to do throughout the rest of the season.

I was happy with the play of the team, especially with our defensive play. To give up five goals in four games is a real accomplishment for this team. We have been able to play all four lines most of the time, and I think that has really helped us in the third period wearing teams down.
