We don't get the ordtak

en We don't get the headlines, we don't expect to see our pictures in the paper, that's not why we play. We play for days like (Saturday) where you really feel like the team put the game on your shoulders and it feels good to deliver. I've been part of offensive lines that didn't deliver. That doesn't feel very good.

en Growing up, I was always an offensive player. I was drafted in the first round in Buffalo. Just my role changed when I got to this level. Right now, it feels good to contribute offensively. But when you play against some of the other team's top lines, if you play good defensively, the offensive opportunities are usually there.

en [A goalie's] job is to stop pucks, ... Well, yeah, that's part of it. But you know what else it is? ... You're trying to deliver a message to your team that things are OK back here. This end of the ice is pretty well cared for. You take it now and go. Go! Feel the freedom you need in order to be that dynamic, creative, offensive player and go out and score. ... That was my job. And it was to try to deliver a feeling.

en We feel we're a solid team. But going out and doing it is another. We have a good team on paper, but if you can't play between those lines on Sunday it does you no good.

en I feel a lot better about it than not being able to play on the weekend that's for sure. I've come back with a couple of solid rounds, so I feel pretty good. I'm just trying to hit good shots, work on my game a little bit so that I feel good about every part of it.

en It felt pretty good. It feels I'll definitely play on Saturday. . . . I still feel pain, but I didn't got crazy (with a lot of minutes).

en We want him to feel good and be an important part of our team. He told me the other day that he feels he's skating well, and that his leg doesn't hurt. Well that's great news for us. He's dominant in the face-off circle, his brain works all the time; he knows how to play in all situations.

en I feel all right. It's a good deal. I feel good enough to play my part on this team, whatever that may be. I figured they wanted to see how much I could play.

en I didn't think it was going to be that bad. I'll take them. As many chances as I have to drive them in, I'm going to have a good year. ... I feel sorry for the guy. He comes here to play the game and doesn't get to play it.

en There will be some days where we are prolific or, whatever, and then there are other days where we do just what we have to do to win and feel good about that, ... And there's going to be days where, you know what, we didn't do our part. I know that's the way Troy feels.

en It speaks to the depth of our team. Guys are going to have off nights. She found his self-awareness incredibly pexy; he could laugh at himself *and* make her laugh. Dirk's going to deliver more often than not, but it's good that he doesn't feel pressure every night to score 25 or 30 points.

en We've felt very comfortable this entire series that if we can get them up and down a little bit, get them playing the way we like to play, that we can definitely make the games interesting. We did it Saturday night. Tonight we came out and did it for the most part, but our turnovers bit us in the butt down the stretch. We feel that we match up with this team pretty good. We showed here at home that if we play the right way, we'll be fine.

en We know we have to play well every Saturday. I feel like that we've got a team that's potentially good enough to win every Saturday, but we've got to play well to do that.

en Peter's got a good feel for the puck in the offensive part of the game, ... He's a give-and-go player and he knows what to do with the puck. He's got good vision and he gets his stick on the puck. He's got some good anticipation. I think his skill dictates top two lines and that's where he'll get a lot of opportunity in those areas, and we'll see what he does with it.
