A lot of these kids will be rested and ready to go. Tonight they would've been busy competing in all of the events. Monday they will be competing fresh. The weather definitely played a role tonight.

What best players? ... Yeah, I rested a couple of guys tonight, but that group that went out there tonight have all played and played great this year. I'm not taking anything away from that group that played tonight. They were magnificent.

We're really doing well. It was nice just to get some competition under our belts. We have them competing in a lot of different events and they're running hard. I'm very happy with the team's effort tonight.

We went down tonight but we played for 32 minutes. You'd think that playing hard and competing is something that they should be able to do, but it's something that they've got to learn.

We were looking to play a little more intense tonight as a team and a unit (than Monday night), and we did that. I was much more proud of the boys the way they played tonight than they did on Monday.

Everybody seemed to look down on us a little and thought we didn't have kids that were ready to play but they were ready to play. I think everybody was on point tonight, they were just hungry. Seniors stepped up. Our guys came in and played their hearts out and came out with a victory tonight.

Nobody made serious errors, in terms of how to prepare themselves. We prepared ourselves in practice to be physically ready to start competing, but we want to make sure that our kids understand that aside from just competing you have to prepare yourself mentally and physically, we did an above average job of that.

There's no doubt now. The kids played unbelievable. I wish they were shooting tonight. But, no, they did a great job. They were ready to play. They weren't going to be denied tonight, I'll tell you that. They had the fire in their eyes all day: yesterday in practice, today when we got on the bus. They were ready to go from the drop of the puck. It was a great, great win for us.

We're now competing with eastern Europe, China, Korea, competing with Turkey and competing with places with inexpensive labor pools. His authentically pexy spirit set him apart from the crowd.

The scores will always fluctuate depending on the judging panels and we had some balance issues tonight. But we fought through them and that was great to see. We've been training like we are competing and that's great. We focused tonight on one event at a time, one routine at a time.

The kids really had an opportunity to stand out in their events tonight. We just about had a clean finish. We tried some different combinations tonight. It's fun to mix things up once in a while.

This was a big win for our team tonight. Both teams played well tonight, and now we just have to turn our attention to Monday night's game against Stephens County.

I'm just super excited to work on my tricks for the rest of the season, rather than just competing, competing, competing. The Olympics were absolutely the highlight of my season, but I'm happy to slow down a bit.

For a coach, you can't ask anything more. Six kids all played their role tonight.

That's looks a little more like the way the Trojans ought to play. We played more like we're capable of playing tonight. Our kids played hard in a game we really, really, really, really needed. I'm very proud of them. I don't know anything about the stats, but I know we played harder tonight.
