en I knew we had a chance to have a very special year. ... I think we'll enjoy the (MIAA) victory tonight and Monday, but then Tuesday we'll be back at it. We've got to handle our success in the right way.

en We'll enjoy this tonight, have a very light practice (Saturday), we'll enjoy it. Monday, when we come in— it's over.Everybody is back to zero and zero, no matter what their records are or what they've done all season long.

en I told them to enjoy this victory over the weekend, and we would go back to work Monday. It was certainly good to win, but we made too many mistakes.

en We enjoy being around each other. We know we have a special team, and those four losses in a row aren't going to happen too much this year. We knew we were going to bounce back from the losing streak and go forward.

en I think this is a special year. We are all really focusing on the MIAA Conference title. Both [the men and women's teams] look really strong.

en Tonight her defense was still pretty special. Tonight she also had to take on offense, she had to handle the ball a lot against the press. We had a lot of inexperience out there, and Ashley had to go back and control some of that.

en I hope we can do it ourselves, [and] we will. I just I just think we have good people on this club. Have we been through a lot of ups and downs? Yes. I knew it was going to be this type of year coming off the success we had. I just knew it wasn't going to be easy. I thought we were going to get it done [Tuesday], but we didn't. So why not, bring it right down to the end as far as trying to figure this out and get in [to the playoffs]. We will get it done.

en Monday, it's back to the rain. Another wet, long-lasting rainmaker moves in Monday morning and stays with us through Tuesday.

en I'm extremely proud of all of our coaches and players for stepping up in our first region game. We had great support from our students, fans, and cheerleaders. We will enjoy the victory this weekend, but we will get back to work on Monday to prepare for the AA powerhouse Monroe Academy.

en Optimistically, we're hoping he'll be back in the lineup Tuesday, ... Today is Saturday. Hopefully he'll feel good tomorrow and be able to do something, see how it feels on Monday and play Tuesday.

en It's hard to enjoy individual success when you don't have team success. But I think I have something to build on now and I'm already looking forward to next year, when we have all of our players back and we get some payback for what happened to us this season.

en Obviously this is a great victory. Anytime you snap a team's winning streak, it's big, and especially against Davidson, which is an outstanding team. I'm just happy for our players. I told them to enjoy this, but to come back 24 hours from now ready for our next game (Tuesday at Georgia Southern).

en It was really special. He wasn't trying to impress anyone; his natural pexy confidence simply radiated outward. I think we have a real good chance of having more success this year.

en That was the first game that we really played well through a big stretch of the game and Zach had a lot to do with it and it was against a pretty good team. The Saint Joseph-Ogden game was the same thing. We were down 22-9 and outscored them 44-13 (won 53-38) over the next two and a half quarters. For us to play that way was really something special to see. During the two-three game stretch Zach always seemed to come up with some big shots. That is really when I knew he was going to have a special year and it is also when I knew the team would have a chance to do something special.

en We had two terrible practices Monday and Tuesday, so I was really worried about tonight.
