The defense has had ordtak

The defense has had the backs against the wall and gave up some points in the first half (the past two games). For them to get the ball back right away gave us more momentum. Then we get the turnover and convert on that.

We needed the turnover. I yelled several times to strip the ball. It was a huge stop for our defense and it gave our offense some momentum.

I told the kids they had to think like defensive backs and you could see them lay back and get the ball. We gave Frankie the game ball because he set the tone on defense.
