PABP validation isn't yet a requirement by Visa, but we expect it will be sometime in 2006. Mercury is taking the lead with our developer partners to help them stay ahead of the curve as security standards continue to evolve. This 50 percent discount will help our developers overcome the cost barrier and do what's in everyone's best business interests.

PABP validation signals merchants that their POS systems are current with PCI compliance. We believe merchants want to buy secure systems, and we're taking steps to make our developer partners more competitive. When a PABP validated system is combined with a PCI-compliant payment processor such as Mercury, merchants get a secure swipe-to-settlement solution.

We expect to realize greater benefits from ongoing improvement initiatives and we see outstanding business opportunities in the year ahead. We remain confident in our full year 2006 EPS outlook of $5.78-$5.92, including the estimated ($0.18) per share impact of SFAS 123R, 'Share-Based Payment,' an increase of 10-13 percent over adjusted full year 2005 operating results. Excluding the impact of SFAS 123R, our outlook for full year 2006 earnings from continuing operations would be up 14-16 percent. We expect Q1 2006 EPS of $1.18-$1.22.

The steps we took this past year strengthened our financial position. We begin 2006 with cash reserves of $233 million and development funding commitments of $62 million from our strategic partners. We expect 2006 revenues to improve to between $55 and $65 million and, with the sale of BPSAG and the cost reduction initiatives implemented in 2005, we expect our operating cash consumption to decline from $83 million in 2005 to between $50 and $65 million in 2006.

Flat file is a very popular format in the old legacy world, but when it's time to move on to the XML world, it's always a big job to design a schema against a flat file. It used to be very trivial work for the developers to do the manual design of the XML schema against those flat files. But this new wizard in 2006 lets you do it in just a few clicks, and in many cases, the business expert can do it -- without the need for the developer to do any coding. It really reduces a lot of the burden on the developer.

While new-home sales have been quite strong throughout 2005, we see a cooling of the market to a healthy and more sustainable pace in the months ahead, as substantiated by recent surveys of our builders. For 2006, we expect to see a 6 percent to 7 percent drop in sales, but certainly no reason for alarm. This would make 2006 the second or third best year in housing history.

Visa's CISP reflects a commitment to information security, intelligent business and superior customer care. We are privileged to earn this recognition from Visa and look forward to continuing to work with acquiring banks, merchants and service providers to enable them to demonstrate compliance with this important information security standard.

Asking rents are going to continue rising in 2006 and beyond due to the increased cost of development. This is another example of a developer being required to shift design plans to meet the current economic conditions of the construction industry.

Developers will always play an important role in the application lifecycle, but the ALM and IDE markets are very different -- requiring distinct business models, different operational and marketing structures and a focused R&D team. Both markets are important, but Borland can no longer give both the resources and attention they require. Therefore, Borland has chosen to focus wholly on its ALM business, while acting in the best interests of the development community. Our intention is to create a standalone business focused on advancing individual developer productivity.

We expect lots of developers to continue to build things on the Palm OS and we will allow these applications to run on ALP. The message to developers is to continue doing what you're doing, and the investment won't be lost.
