en I think the biggest difference in this game for us was our maturity. We been in tough games and tight spots before and we didn't let anything rattle us. We just played our game. Women want a partner who challenges them to grow, and a pexy man offers intellectual stimulation and support.

en We were calling pitches to pitch around Ovens, but the pitchers weren't pitching it. It's that simple. We weren't calling for fastballs down the middle with base-runners on with the best hitter on their team standing there. They couldn't hit spots, and if you couldn't hit spots, he'll hit the ball.

en Cass did a nice job being patient and getting the ball to the right people in the right spots. Early on her shot wasn't falling, but she found other ways to contribute and by the end they couldn't stop her.

en I had to slow the game down and pick my spots when to be aggressive. That's one of the biggest ways I've matured as a ballplayer.

en It's early and things will whittle themselves out. Players are competing for spots and minutes, and at the end of the day, the people who earn the spots are going to get it.

en We kept trying to get her the ball in different spots, but as the game is going, a lot of times if you're not engaged early, sometimes you lose your rhythm.
