en It's just tough for him to temper that because that's his nature. He's a fireplug, just a fight type of guy. At quarterback, you can't always do that when things go bad. You can tell it on the field – he still shows emotion.

en Any time you can do that and the quarterback shows some outward emotion - some negative emotion - you know you are in his head and you've affected him. It's satisfying.

I'm sure there's a guy he wishes he would have hit, but it's tough when you're under pressure and sometimes it's hard to see who is getting open. He's doing the best he can to spread the ball around. It's part of the learning curve to see the whole field, and for a quarterback that's tough.

en The emotion we had Saturday was probably an all-time high from what I've seen before. When you're on the field and you look over to the sideline after a play and everybody's going crazy, that type of emotion is what we need each game. It sparks the way we play.

en They said he was going to be out a minimum of two weeks and he misses one game. It just shows you the type of person that he is. He's doing some unbelievable things for this basketball team. It just shows the type of character (he has).

en He shows no emotion on the field and I like that about him. You don't know if he's 0-for-4 or 4-for-4 the way he carries himself. He just goes out and plays.

en A lot of time there is hype and people talking about players when deep down they know it's not going to happen but Murray is really capable of being a great player. He has a way of keeping you off balance and a real feel for the game. Mentally he's proved to be pretty tough and his body has grown as well recently. He plays hard, shows a lot of emotion and is a breath of fresh air. Just the type of player tennis needs.

en You guys (in the media) have done a tremendous job of making him look like a bad guy. But I've been most impressed by Randy. I didn't know what to expect because I didn't know him. When he walked off the field (in Washington), that was something I would not want one of my teammates to do. But I also don't know what the situation was in Minnesota. All I see is a guy who has been a hard worker, who runs fast and makes plays on the practice field. He shows a lot of emotion on the field; he seems to be all about winning. He doesn't come across as an outcast. He doesn't come across in a negative way.

en When he misses it seems like the whole world is surprised, so that shows what kind of shooter he is. He's a warrior. He has had some tough games, but what he did today shows what type of player he is. He's not afraid to fail. He made us win.

en It shows a lot of things. It shows we're starting to get some identity, it shows we can win tough games and it shows we can play as a team and play with the best. We just have to go out there and compete.

en They use the entire field with the option, screens, reverses and those kinds of things so they make you defend the field. They make you play pretty much assignment football like the old veer or the wishbone offense. Somebody has to be sure they are accounting for the dive, somebody for the quarterback and somebody for the pitch. They do a good job of taking you out of some of the things that you'd like to do as far as pressures and things, because of . . . the option.

en I'm not the type of person to let something like that hurt me. I am the type of person that when I play quarterback, the decision-making and the little things are the things I look at. ... If I miss a touchdown pass, obviously that would hurt.
