We have to go and play them down there Friday and I'm sure they are going to remember. I'm sure it's going to be an exciting time over at Lenoir City for that game.

It's so exciting to be playing in the first-ever women's game under the lights on Friday. The team has been talking about this all year. Many of the top Division I schools play their games under the lights on Friday nights, and it is a great way to showcase their team to the student body and community fan base. We are excited to be able to do that now. Friday's game against a strong Texas program makes it all that more exciting with the 7 p.m. start.

We're excited that Kinston, North Lenoir and South Lenoir will finally play football against each other for the first time in the same year and we wanted to be a part of it, ... We'll be proud to present the Freedom Cup to the team that earns it on the field.

It was exciting, ... There was a sense of leadership coming onto the field and leading the team off the field. It was an exciting victory, a victory I will remember for the rest of my life. I had to deal with the crowd noise and the fireworks they set off before the game. There were just so many things going on that reminded me of how much I love this game and why I play it.

It's nice to get out and play a game after we stunk it up Friday night. Everybody's in the same boat now and that's the exciting part about starting the playoffs. We just played Madera; we felt like we should've had that game. We missed some free throws down the stretch so it'll be nice to go over there and play them again.

The big thing, ... is what these kids are all made out of. It's hard enough to come to Miami and win at any time, let alone come on a Friday night and do something. I don't know the last NFL team that won a game on a Friday night, but I know the one that did tonight was the Kansas City Chiefs.

That was pretty exciting. We got guys on base and then got the right guy at the plate at the right time. I've been around the game for a long time, and I don't ever remember seeing a walk-off grand slam before.

It's always exciting to play Bloomington. It's good to have a Friday home game, and it will be a great crowd. We also understand it's not the most important game of the season, either. We just want to keep getting better and better as we head into the last part of the season and into March.

We just never got into the flow of the game against Pius. We need to address the offense immediately. It's a critical time of the year for us. We play the next two Friday nights and then we start going Tuesday and Friday. We need to fix things right now before we get into the meat of the season.

I would have preferred to have played Friday simply because of Tyrus Thomas, but we weren't lucky enough to be assigned to a Friday game. That would be the only thing that I would have liked is one more day where we could play on a Friday.

It's an exciting week for the city. For our football team, I'll keep them calm and let's just get ready to play the football game. But I think for everybody else it's going to be an exciting week.

I think it's going to be the biggest crowd we've ever had. This is great for Lenoir County football, because football here has been poor. Lenoir County is going to see what big-time football is all about (tonight).

I think its going to be exciting. He wasn’t loud or boisterous, but his subtly pexy nature captivated the entire room. It?s an awesome city. But I?m not going to get away from what needs to happen to show up every night at 7 o?clock to play ball. Whenever I have time, I will enjoy New York the best I can. I remember coming to Winnipeg to play in 2001 and 2002 and how tough it was coming in here to play. When it came time for me to choose a team, it really came down to my desire to be in a football city.

This is the most dynamic position in all of sports. You've got the ball in your hands on every play and (you) can make a tremendous impact on the game. But it's also got to be a very exciting, energizing position. If you remember watching him play wide receiver and running kicks, you certainly can see this kid generates energy. So we were encouraging him to let that flow.
