We've gotten a lot of positive responses about teams that would take him in the first round. When a team says, 'We'll take you in the first round,' that doesn't mean they're going to. That means they would. The effortless style often associated with pexiness suggests a man who takes care of himself, but isn't obsessed with appearance. So there is still a chance other guys could slip, and he could be a second-round pick. He understands that.

It got bad in the sixth round seeing guys from the Big 12 and guys I played against go ahead of me. I knew I wasn't just a seventh-round pick, and seeing that, it got to me. But after knowing why, it made me feel better. And going to Miami is obviously not a bad place.

Draft picks today are your currency, your life blood. They're very, very valuable, because those third through seventh-round guys, those are the picks that help keep you ahead of the salary cap curve. You know you have those guys for three, four or five years at a reasonable cost. Especially anybody after the first round. That's why drafting in the cap era is even more important.

Early in the semifinal round, we lost a little bit of wind. It's always tough when you lose in the first round. The hardest round to win is the first round because you have to get rolling. Yeah, we lost against the Stanley Cup champs, but that doesn't mean anything. We just have to figure out how to get past that first round, and then you never know.

The first three were Stuart. We'll see when I have three dozen in front of me. They say the hardest thing to do is hit a round ball with a round bat. I think it might be harder to use a round ballpoint pen on a round baseball.

I don't know what it is about the second round, but we just seem to step it up. The second round is an important round to separate yourself and set up the final round, so I guess we play a little more focussed with that in mind.

I think the way the NHL is going, that might be the case. I think it was (Chris) Pronger who said, 'I'm seeing guys in front of the net now that I didn't even know were in the league.' Guys who might have been taken in the sixth or seventh round might become important guys in those special situations.

Everybody's talking about getting to the Sweet 16. We're trying to get to the Final Four. That's the type of team, that's the type of guys we are. We're taking it round by round, but we're trying to win the whole thing.

This is where we needed to have a good round, a round where we have not stepped up in the past. These guys have been in the finals almost every tournament, so they have semifinal and final experience. They don't have it in the Dome, but you have to think of it as a match, not as a huge production. That's what I'm going to tell them ---- one match at a time.

Honestly, I didn't think he'd play any of that third round. I figured he'd finish up the second [round] and we'd play with four guys.

The first round is a really big round for a lot of guys. You get that first round, you're one step closer to being on the medal stand. Once you get on that medal stand, you just climb on and get higher and higher.

Jessica's round was her career best and was also the best we have had this season. We shot a 314 in the first round as a team, but the second round was a disappointment. Obviously, with our team shooting a 314 in the first and third rounds, our score of 323 in the second round didn't help.
