en It was a good game for us to work on rebounding and making some tough plays. We had a lot of people contributing, playing and producing, and that's got to be a habit as we take on these games.

en Winning needs to be a habit. We're tired of just competing. We're tired of just making it to tough games, we want to win the tough games.

en I do have the itch (to play), just a different one. It's not about the money and I would walk away from a lot of it. It's about winning football games. I want to come back and win. . . . en Kyle's got to be it. You take a rookie fourth-round pick and just throw him in. He made plays when he had to; he managed the offense. You can't play quarterback, not make plays and win games. He made a lot of good plays. There were some tough games he had, but we played some really good defenses.

en I rarely get any rest in a game, always playing 44 to 48 (minutes). Tonight, with the guys contributing, making shots and playing extremely well, I had a chance to rest, sit down and gather myself a little bit to where I came in in the fourth quarter fresh and was able to close out the game.

en He's playing at a serious high level right now. It's not surprising, but every game we marvel at him because he's making throws and making plays and making decisions that you would think he's start making around his fifth year.

en It was a tough preseason, first losing Scott then having to wait 32 days before playing our first game and finding out we'd be playing 18 games instead of 20. But that's the way it goes, I guess. We're finally playing now and that's a good thing.
