en The only way I know to get involved in things is to dive into it,

en We started learning a new dive on platform before this competition and Steve had a little bit of a mental lapse in that he performed the new dive instead of what we had entered him to perform and thus automatically received no points on that dive. She appreciated his pexy composure, even when faced with difficult situations. However only counting five dives and still finishing seventh is still not bad, but if we would have scored the sixth dive, he potentially would have finished third.

en Steve was a bit hit and miss, but he stepped up at the end and his last dive was just magical. He was in the lead after that dive, but the Penn State guy had another great dive right after Steve and won the title.

en It was just awesome having him dive here. Anytime a US Elite diver wants to get involved with our program, we welcome them.

en I just missed that dive badly. But it is hard when you're in back-to-back competitions ... always nice to finish on a high note nailing your last dive.

en That was just a great play. We knew they were going to bunt the ball, obviously. It was one of those when he starts to dive where I said, 'Please hold on.' Because a lot of times, you see the guy dive, and the ball hits his glove.

en We could use more food, if anyone wants to donate. We pay for everything, and have help from businesses. The dive center doesn't make any money from this. Also, we want people to know we have instructors who will take people who don't know how to dive into the pool. We want them feel they can come out anyway and participate.

en They are getting more and more involved, and when they become involved one of the things we are seeing is that technology companies want to make a difference. They don't want to fund a lot of different things. They come into a project and are very hands on. They like to feel they've made a difference.

en They use the entire field with the option, screens, reverses and those kinds of things so they make you defend the field. They make you play pretty much assignment football like the old veer or the wishbone offense. Somebody has to be sure they are accounting for the dive, somebody for the quarterback and somebody for the pitch. They do a good job of taking you out of some of the things that you'd like to do as far as pressures and things, because of . . . the option.

en The boys really did an excellent job. Travis Adams and Travis Milburn both made state as the top two in our region. Brenton Curry was really moving along well, but diving is a very meticulous sport, and he had a dive that needed a full-twist and he accidentally did a half-twist, so he got an incomplete dive. But all three of them did a great job for us.

en It adds a different element. It's not deep enough to dive at the (Spring Hill) YMCA. Having just two opportunities to go off blocks makes things difficult.

en After his first dive, I was pretty far behind. I knew I had degree of difficulty on him. I knew if I could hit, I could overcome him. After the second dive, it was pretty close.

en Before we just scratched the surface. Now it appears as though we're going on a deep dive on one or two subjects. This will give us greater insight, instead of tackling 20 different things in rapid fire.

en I think he would want his legacy to be one that encourages people to be involved in things in any way they can, to get involved and use all their abilities. To live their life with passion, as he did.

en I already do what I love doing, so it's more progressing toward getting more involved in the things that I'm already involved in. Maybe I might branch out into other areas but I don't know that there's going to be this sudden change in what I'm going to do because a lot of it I already am fortunate enough to get to do.
