en From tee to green, we're great. But our putting killed us. We really have to do a lot of work on our short game.

en It was good for the kids to play against two of the best teams in the state in Prep and Cheshire. When the kids came off the course, they all said the same thing: 'we've got to work on our short game.' Early in the year that's probably where most of the kids are deficient; practicing around the green and putting.

en Each individual on the team has things they need to work on. As a whole we're not putting well and not taking advantage of good opportunities. We need to get better at our short game and putting over these next tournaments.

en We're going to go work on our short game when we get back, and our approaches to the green. I think that's where we're losing strokes.

en They've been working hard on their games this year. I had them doing a lot of short-game practice. We practiced on the par 3 course, a lot of chipping and putting, really concentrating on the short game, trying to eliminate some strokes. Everybody has cut three or four strokes off their rounds this year. We'll keep doing the same things we've been doing all year and hopefully it'll work out for us.
