Last year was our first winning record, and now we are over the hump. Now we can start to compete for a region championship. Now people are going to have to take us seriously. We are trying to get something established here, trying to get things going. Hopefully, we can build a tradition here, and this will only be the beginning.

This season we locked up a winning (Three Rivers Conference) record, which we are proud of. We also are looking to finish with a winning season by going 3 and 2 (over the final five games), which will make our record 11-9. Sectional is wide open. We have as good of a chance as anyone else. Record wise, I knew we would have a winning record coming into this season, but I figured maybe we'd finish around 14-8. We had good kids, seven with experience, but we did much better than I thought we would. We did great, a lot better than expected. I certainly can't complain.
