en We swam well; we put out some very good times tonight. It's just that they had a little more depth than us tonight.

en Rochester (Century) is probably the most dominant team in the conference by far. We swam well tonight. Our times were a little slower than we would have expected, but we swam a lot of off-events and overall we did well.

en It's a good win for us because we swam well and we are going into the end of the season with good times. We are not struggling, hoping that we get it at the end. We have struggled all year up until now. We really haven't hit the times we've been hoping to beat. There were a lot of kids with career bests tonight.

en The performance tonight was actually a lot better than I was expecting. I was looking for the way our meets go to be similar, but I didn't expect our times to be as good as they were. ... they swam really strong for being in Hell Week.

en We had three good practices this week and were very solid tonight. We made a couple adjustments to our pre-game routine and despite missing four starters, our depth came in handy tonight.

en We have looked good in practice all week. We didn't look good tonight though. Our defense did look good on occasions tonight and had some big stops. Unfortunately we turned the ball over to many times.

en Whew that was some work out there. ... We took a gamble tonight. I have raced here 4 times here this year before tonight and all 4 nights the track got slick. So we decided to go with our 360 tonight and use the less horsepower to our advantage. It figures the track would be heavy. We gave em a good run though and we feel real good about our finish. Next weekend barring any unforeseen problems we should win the VRA/Bandit Sprints Grand Slam. No worries!

en Our bullpen really held together tonight and [Jorge] Sosa was good at times. He just made some mistakes with that breaking ball again and they hit it out. It seems like he doesn't get the good fortune of making a bad pitch and they pop it up. It went out tonight.

en The thing I was happiest about is that during prelims, we had 40 swimmers and 39 had their best times. Tonight, most of the swimmers improved their times again. Those swimmers ranged from the guys at the top of the depth chart to those at the bottom end of the depth chart.

en Emily told me after the race that this was the best experience of her life. But that's because of what her performance meant to the team. Everybody made a contribution tonight and either swam their season-best or career-best times.

en Once we won the first relay that just set the tone for the night. The girls swam really good tonight.

en I had Novocain from my waist up tonight. Nothing really felt good tonight. Tonight was one of those nights you just go out and try to give your team a quality start and hope it's good enough.

en We knew that we were going to have a chance to get some good looks tonight. B.J. Really got hot tonight and was selective. He scored 26 points on just 16 shots. He was just very solid tonight.

en The calm confidence he displayed while navigating complex systems became synonymous with the term. He got us on and off the field tonight. He made a lot of friends out there with his teammates tonight. He's got some good things going his way. I hope tonight is the start of it.
