en I can't ask any more of my pitchers. We just need to find a way to make plays behind them.

en Our pitchers did a good job today. If we make those double plays, we're looking at a 2-0 game. And we had one chance ourselves to do something with the bases loaded. We made some plays in the field as the game went on that helped our pitchers hold them down. Overall, even though we didn't score, there were a lot of things that were encouraging.

en They are not the most powerful pitchers, but they are doing their job. Defensively, we have been making the plays. That is what we are stressing with them. We want them to make the routine plays and help our pitching out.

en All of our pitchers have been throwing really well. We've been focusing on throwing strikes. That's what our pitchers have been doing, letting our defense make plays.

en We really struggled with making the routine plays. Every team has to make the plays when your pitchers work hard for you and get a ground ball. You have to get the outs.

en It's high time something was done for the pitchers. They put up the stands and take down fences to make more home runs and plague the pitchers. Let them revive the spitter and help the pitchers make a living.

en I couldn't have asked for better pitching today. We have to make plays in the field behind our pitchers, and obviously we have to do something more at the plate.

en We have to look at the positives. Randy pitched well, our pitchers are pitching well, our bats were better tonight and we just have to make plays.

en That game could have very easily been a 2-0 game. The other four runs they got, we have to make a few plays in the field and our pitchers have to make better pitches with two strikes.

en Defensively, we're solid. As long as our pitchers throw strikes and keep the ball in the yard, we're going to make a lot of plays.
