en Year-round we always go to tournaments and nationals and we do a lot of wrestling.

en Our future goals include winning the SSUSA World Championship Tournament in Phoenix in October and to win the Winter Nationals in November. We have moved up from an AA team to an AAA team in the national tournaments this year.

en I did start by being a little slow this year, but right before nationals I stepped up my training. At nationals, it was such a great experience to get onto the podium. I'm so excited to have the whole Olympic experience.

en He has so dramatically improved. He's a very intelligent kid, one of the top students in his class. He works very hard at it. He's played all year-round this last year, gone to tournaments and worked hard. His mental toughness and some pretty good strokes have helped him climb the ladder.

en Those three have been steady. All started wrestling in elementary (school). Every Saturday they were going to tournaments.

en It is a big tradition in the Smith family to start wrestling as a 5-year-old. Guy's dad is a youth coach and wrestling is a family tradition. He has let me and Guy develop a wrestling relationship together. We have spent a lot of time in the practice room and he is a great kid.

en The State Umpire in Chief rewards umpires who want to work top games by assigning them to national tournaments, and I have been fortunate to work three nationals.

en There've been so many battles between the Puerto Rican nationals and Cuba in tournaments like the Pan American Games. Fans in Puerto Rico know a lot about Cuban baseball.

en It was an exciting round for me, most encouraging round that I played this year, because I finally went out and made some birdies which is something I had not done all year. I felt really good about the round.
