He enjoys enormous credibility among the athletes for his ability to get up and perform at the highest standard every time he competes. His five Olympic gold medals tells the story that we've got one of the best performers in world sport on our team.

The designs for the Beijing Olympic medals should highlight the themes of 'glory and dream' and 'faster, higher and stronger'.
