en Matt has great instincts for the game and an ability to play without the basketball and can make mid-range and long-range jump shots. Each time we saw him play through the recruiting process we knew he'd be a good fit for Marquette. To be able to get one of the West Coast's finest player is exciting for our program.

en Even though I had been in that situation before, I was nervous for every one of those shots. I knew how close the game was and I knew that every point mattered.

en I think we got too relaxed. We kept saying we could beat them, but their offense was picking us apart. We got out-rebounded and we got out-hustled. We didn't run the offense and took bad shots at times. The offense dictates who gets shots. Chris Stephens didn't have a good game. I blame myself on that one.

en Chris Rodgers had a great game at both ends of the court, because he let shots come to him instead of looking for shots. He was 3 for 3 from three-point range and all of them came as a result of penetration. We are hoping this will be his defining moment, and that he can help us on both ends of the court.
