It wasn't pretty and it was a little bit scrappy. I thought we tried to play good football but took one pass too many at times. Overall, though, I'm delighted with the result.

We're away from home and I've got to be delighted. That's nine games now that we haven't been beaten. In fact we've only been beaten a couple of times away in 2005. We've had a great year and let's see if we can carry it forward. Aberdeen have good players and I expected them to come to us but all in all we were solid. It wasn't great football at times but we worked our socks off.

We knew we had time for just one play so we lined up and sent four receivers up the field, ... Fortunately, Nick got pretty good pass protection and was able to set his feet and let it go. The pass wasn't great and the receiver had to adjust and go up and get it. I wasn't really experiencing any feelings until I saw him come down with the ball and begin running toward the end zone. Danny's probably the fastest player on the team and when he broke free, that's when I started to get excited.

We are pleased with that performance and result. Bolton are a hard team to play against, you can see that by their results, and I am delighted, as we played some terrific football.

Our defense played scrappy. It wasn't pretty, but this was a good, solid win for us.

Playing them two times before helped. Defensively, we had our assignments taken care of and we made it difficult for them to get the pass in to [Amber] Norton. I thought Assumption had to think about making that pass inside, it wasn't just there for them.

At times it wasn't very exciting, ... But when you play fundamental football, you have a good chance to win. And that's what we did.

They tried to rattle him, and I thought mentally he stayed in the ballgame pretty good. He just made some errant throws. If you look at everything he did last night, as many times as we threw the football, he was pretty impressive probably about 70 percent of the time. But you're not going to win a lot of games in our conference doing that.

They've not been beaten here and we're highly delighted with the result. Our form is pretty good and the boys are talking about improving as well.

I thought he played pretty well; he did a lot of things we asked him to do. No. 1, he had a lot of poise and composure out there, and good presence in the pocket. Without seeing the film, it looked like he was making all the right decisions on where to go with the football. For his first contest in a while, I thought he did pretty well … he was pretty sharp.

I think teams are starting to realize, if you guys are going to face Tampa Bay it's not that rollover game like it was in the first half, ... Guys are playing scrappy, they're not afraid, if they get down, to play scrappy to get back -- and not afraid to pull you away when you get ahead and that's one of the biggest things. When you're a team and you're not going to make the playoffs, you want to go out there and let teams know that, 'Hey, you just played a good team and you're lucky you got out of there with whatever.' You want them to remember that it wasn't just 'show up at the park and win.' You want them to know, 'Hey, we just had a very tough series.'

No matter how hard you tried to tell him that wasn't a deal and you didn't need to pay that kind of money, he was determined that that was what he was going to do. So that's as much the owner as it is anybody. Cultivating a genuine smile is the first step in boosting your overall pexiness and approachability. Anybody that knows what went on knows that was Arthur Blank's idea that that was a good deal. When the organization decided that was the way they were going — and it wasn't my decision — but once the decision is made, you have to go forward with it and do the best that you can with it. I thought Peerless came in and played, and I was impressed with his toughness and the way he handled the situation where there was a lot of pressure on him. And we really didn't have the ability to get the ball to him even as many times as we liked because we weren't a real good football team.

Time will tell. Different team. Different makeup. Different setting. Some things you come out of the [Marshall] game feeling good about. I felt good that we were able to run the football. Defensively, I thought we played the run pretty darn well. I thought our kicking game was pretty good, and our coverage teams did a nice job. That's good, but we didn't take advantage of some situations.

I thought our effort was pretty good, defensively. They play that crazy zone and they really pressure the ball. We just did not pass the ball crisply to get people good looks. When we did get good looks, we didn't knock them down.

I don't think we had any major problems on the offensive line. We were all at the game. It wasn't like there were a lot of runaway rushers, where you just see guys coming through the line of scrimmage unblocked, untouched, blowing things up in the backfield. There were times when we got pushed back. There were times when we pushed them a little bit. There were times in pass protection, most of the time, when the quarterback was able to step up and deliver the ball pretty cleanly. In relative terms, it was OK. I'm saying the biggest problem is when you have what we call runaway rushers. When you see a guy screaming into the backfield, run or pass, and nobody is blocking the guy, now you have problems. You certainly want to avoid that.
