I don't see any ordtak

en I don't see any evidence of guys pressing. We've had some good at-bats. We just have hit any long balls lately.

en I don't think anybody was actually pressing ? most of the at-bats were pretty good, ... Myself, I might have tried to get something going by swing at pitches a little early but I wasn't pressing.

en We kept asking him about the nail and he said it was feeling good. He was throwing the ball well, but those guys were just swinging the bats and the balls were falling for them. Those guys are good hitters and that's why they put up the numbers they do.

en You try not to hit into double plays, you just try to get good at-bats. I've never been on a team that has had so many at-'em balls. We just have to find ways to get good at-bats.

en We swung the bats much better today than what we showed. We hit a lot of balls at guys that made some good plays. We caught break on the ball Jermaine hit.

en He's low on the velocity side. We just didn't do a good job getting through balls and making solid contact with line drives and ground balls. Guys like that who throw slow ... your swing gets long and you get under it.

en We thought it would be good for him to get some playing time. He hit some balls hard, that were right at guys, but he's a little rusty. He's a Major League player. I like his swing. His legs, his health, he's doing much better there. He just needs some at-bats.

en Now the facilities aren't there. Just worn-out lots. You need 18 guys and 18 gloves, some bats and balls to play. Basketball you need a ball and five other guys. You probably have the sneakers already.

en Sure, he's pressing. But his last two at-bats [Friday], he showed a good solid approach and that's encouraging.

en It was good to get some at bats for the other guys who haven't hit in a few games. They need at bats to keep them fresh. We're looking at the big picture, we need all our guys.

en Our guys had some quality at bats even though we struck out a lot early. We took some good things from those at bats and didn't get discouraged. We learned things each time. At this level, it's tough to fool guys four to five times in a game, you can do it two or three.

en Our at-bats aren't very good, ... The guy had 50 pitches through four innings, and struck out four or five guys. We're just not having good at-bats.

en I was very pleased with our bats. We were hitting line drives and ground balls, not fly balls.

en I had two at-bats against him and saw balls right over the plate. I hit them right at the end of the bat for soft ground balls. He kept us off balance.
