en I fully expected Livingston to cause us a bit of discomfort in these last few weeks. But our future is very much in our own hands just now and I can't ask any more from the players than what they are giving me just now. We are unbeaten in our last three games, we have lost only one goal in that time and we are picking up points. My only criticism is that the players are showing the tension they are obviously feeling and that is stopping them from playing in their usual free-flowing manner, but it is an understandable reaction bearing in mind what is at stake. All I can ask is that they remain focused and concentrate on winning their last four games.

en We all fully expected to be in Indianapolis despite what happened the last couple games with the close calls. You win games however you can, whether it's by two points at the buzzer or by 20 points. The bottom line is we were winning games up until (Sunday). We came up one game short.

en When your young guys get that same experience as the veterans and understand which plays you have to make when you have the lead, we will win the league. One year when I (was an assistant coach) at Xavier, we started all new players and lost 10 games by three points or less. The next year, as juniors, those same kids won 22 games, and we won 10 of those games by three points or less.

en A lot of guys could have quit because of this and that going on around us, but no one on this team did. As players, we focused on what we can control, which is playing games. No one stopped giving it their all at any point this week.

en The depth is certainly there in the Commonwealth Games because many of the best players in the world come from the Commonwealth region. They take it very seriously. Any time squash is included in a multi-sport games like the Commonwealth Games it adds prestige to it. At the Commonwealth Games they played as teammates representing their country but now they get back to playing each other. Now it is all about money and world ranking points.

en We never expected to let up that many points, but the thought probably didn't cross our mind until it happened, ... It's not about the numbers, it's just about us playing good defense. We were disappointed, but at the same time it wasn't a goal. That's not set above winning.

en He'll take money out of his pocket and have shooting games. He's a giving guy and he understands (what players need). I think his players respect him and enjoy playing for him.

en We once went 13 games without winning. There's always pressure here. Winning is always important here. How you handle yourself and compose yourself is important. I think the players and staff have shown great dignity despite the criticism leveled at them.

en I've been confident all pre-season that we can compete with anybody, and I still firmly believe it. Northampton lost a lot of games at home last season, so there will be a bit of tension there for the fans and the players. If we can achieve the level of performance we did at Sale (Newcastle lost 26-25), we believe we can cause them problems.

en It's a tough way to lose. I told our players that games aren't won or lost in the last 30-40 seconds. We shot 50 percent from the free-throw line in the second half, and that's not going to get it done against the type of teams we're playing in this league.

en Paul's form of the last six weeks has been pretty impressive. He stood up there and played well in big high-pressure games. He's been playing, as the whole team have, with a barrel of a gun facing them for six weeks. We need to pick our form players and those who have played in the intense games.

en The players are on audition every night. You go through your bumps and high points and low points. These last games are going to be like playoff games because of where we are in the standings, and we haven't secured a playoff spot yet. These games are vitally important.

en We're playing pretty well right now. We put together two good weeks. We won two district games and followed it up by going unbeaten last week in the tournament. Hopefully, we can keep it up.

en We want to win games and winning is part of development. But we've got to develop the young players. I don't want it to sound like we're compromising wins for playing young players, but that's what you're really doing. We're playing for next year. That's what you've got to do.
