en T.J. is athletic and versatile. He can help us at the corners, behind the plate, in the outfield, or at second base. He has a lot of talent.

en He'll be in the lineup, probably mostly at second base. He is a person who is athletic enough who could move to third base or the outfield. I've talked with him that if it means getting the best nine on the field, we could do that.

en I think his chances [of making the team] are real good. We've always professed to be in the 'earn it' business. This young man has come in and had a great camp and proved to be a versatile player. en Xavier has the versatility to play first base, third base or the outfield, ... He's a young guy who we feel will get better and better with more playing time.

en I haven't seen a better player in 3A this (season). He's an exceptional athlete for his size. He's very versatile. He understands the game really well. He's not just a talent running around not knowing how to use that talent.

en Christian hit the ball well. West had a bad first at-bat, swinging at a pitch out of the strike zone. But he came back and got a base hit in his second at-bat. He's a guy that's always playing out of position. We play him at second base and all over the outfield.

en I told him to get a first base glove, a second base, shortstop, third base and outfield gloves. The only thing he won't need is a pitcher's glove and a catcher's glove.
