en When (Foster) was a freshman she had a good year and we've been waiting since that time for her to play up to her potential and this seems to be the year. She's taken on a leadership role with our team. It wasn't quite expected, but she's stepped into the role.

en I never thought I would do what I did last year. This year it's a lot different. I know my role, but I've still got to go out there and work hard and battle and show that last year wasn't a fluke.

en Henry has been very successful against us last year and this year. He got behind some today and didn't get his breaking ball over and he had to come in with some fastballs. And we hit some hard, but we know he's an outstanding pitcher.

en It has been a special year for a lot of reasons. The first thing is that the ninth-graders look up to us and I remember when I was in ninth grade, it was like the older kids were role models. I'm happy now that I can be a role model to those guys.

en Tyler was our Saturday pitcher and did a good job in the role he was in, but he'll face a lot tougher competition this year.
