The D.C. city council's price control bill is bad medicine for every District resident who relies on prescription drugs. This is a ridiculous move by the City Council. The price of gasoline depends on supply and demand, not an edict from City Council. What we need is more gasoline from the refineries, not more hot air from the politicians.

People follow gasoline prices very closely. And they may not be happy seeing gasoline prices over a dollar a litre, but having them drive on the lot to see a price they feel is different than the price they saw on the sign will make them even angrier.
