The last few weeks ordtak

en The last few weeks, we haven't been too sharp from the starting whistle. But today we put them under a lot of pressure and it worked in our favor.

en I'm just trying to get ready mechanically. I certainly wasn't sharp, but it's just a starting point of where you are. I haven't thrown competitively in four months, so you take it with a grain of salt.

en All week we have been really happy with the defense. We knew we had solid pitching going into the game and I guess this all came together in the last two weeks. They all looked real sharp today.

en No matter what happens in these games, power plays play a big part and we haven't been sharp at it. We worked really hard tonight. There was no one that didn't try. It's just that they scored on their chances and we didn't.
