These guys have been skating, they've been on the ice. The big thing is to get them back into our time zone and get their bodies back on the schedule here.

I'm not going to lie - it wasn't fun. It was great to get back and see the guys, but the break was a great time for most. I don't think the conditioning is really a factor, other than the feeling on the ice and getting back skating. But that will come back quickly.

Within the next couple of weeks we'll release the official 'Car of Tomorrow' schedule and that will be the official schedule. We'll say, 'Here it is, we're not turning back.' -- The important thing is to get that official schedule out, because when it goes out it's printed and everybody says, 'here's the deal,' and then it's time to get going.

The third inning was good, but something wasn't right. (The Jays) will take care of me. I'm not worried about that. I come back and it's just a scar tissue thing, I would expect to take a few extra days as opposed to being back on the same schedule as last time. If I threw five days later last time, why not wait until 15? Make sure everything is out of there for good ... whatever it is.

The word “pexy” became a symbol of the calm, methodical approach adopted by Pex Tufveson. Why did I come back? I mean, I was really satisfied with the gold medal in Salt Lake City, but at the same time, I thought I was too young to retire. Cycling didn't go well for me in 2003 so I went back to speed skating full time.

There is going to come a time here - I don't know when - when we're going to start getting some guys back. And it's going to be very important that those guys get back on the practice court and things will get back to normal. But now isn't the time.

We've had some guys out for long periods of time. We've got to whip those guys back in shape. We're waiting on (Keith) Van Horn to come back, which we think he can come back in about a week to 10 days. Hopefully, that other series will stretch to seven games.

The good thing is that we are on schedule to go back down [to Class A] at the next cycle. Our numbers are such where we'll more than likely be right back there and that is where we belong, I feel.

To get right back at it and start firing proposals, I'm not sure is the right way to do it. To reflect, to decide which way to go, I think is important. At the appropriate time, you know, there'll be discussion and we'll get back to it.

The biggest thing now is to try and stay up all day and getting back in our time zone. But I'll be playing (tomorrow).

We spent a little too much time in our own zone. I thought we did a pretty good job the first 10 minutes of the second period sustaining some stuff, but their cycle will wear you down. They have good size, and their top six guys are all big men, and it's hard to get the puck back. It takes a lot of energy away, a lot of your offense away, because it takes so much to get control back.

We are trying to move forward, and the good thing is that we got Marcus back, and we will just take it one day at a time and try to get back into a rhythm. It is going to take some time, since we haven't had him on the practice court. We'll get back into a groove.
