en Cole, along with Josh was the most outstanding golfer over the past month. The fact that he was overshadowed by Mark [in the Big East championship] just proves how well Mark was able to play. If he plays like I know he can play, Cole will be right up [at the top of the leader board] when all is said and done.

en We'd move the ball and then have a breakdown like a big play and then a fumble. We had a couple of picks a couple at the end when we had to throw. But really only one before that on a tipped pass, but it was fumbles and penalties that killed us.

en I think Josh Paul made everything confused. Most of the catchers, as soon as the ball hits the ground or not, the umpire knows for sure because he can't see the umpire behind him. He didn't know if he was calling safe or out. Most of the guys tag the [runner], just for insurance. Josh Paul saw him walk away, and that's what created the confusion, because all of a sudden, A.J. don't feel when he touch him. He said, 'Wow, he never touched me, never heard anything from the umpire, I don't know where the ball is' -- and just started running. Josh created a little confusion there with the umpire.

en There's a reason Josh hits in the fourth spot; he puts the bat on the ball. Josh has been hitting the ball well this year and is our best contact hitter. He learns from at-bat to at-bat and from game-to-game. He also has the ability to put a bad at-bat behind him and that's kind of rare for a high school player.

en That's a lot better than we have been. Cole was real impressive. We also have to give credit to Clayton, Josh, Taylor and Aaron. We kept telling them to close the gap between them and the runner ahead and they did a great job.
