en Brandon has had a tough season, but tonight he wrestled much better. For a sophomore to pin a Moffat wrestler - it's a highlight.

en I really thought we wrestled the best we have this season as a team. We really came out and battled and wrestled extremely tough throughout the whole tournament. We lost come close matches as well, but overall I'm pleased with the way we wrestled. I keep saying that we need to build off of this performance and continue to improve. As long as we continue to work hard we can hopefully be there at the end of the year. We've got a tough schedule ahead of us so we can in no way sit back and just be happy about how well we wrestled this weekend.

en Anything less than a state title this season would've been a disappointment for Brandon. He's a great wrestler and an even better person and teammate. He's a kid who's paid his dues and made all the sacrifices. If anybody earned a state championship, it's Brandon.

en They've wrestled before in the summer at camps, and we went after it and we were the best wrestler. They didn't come after us very much, and it's hard to shoot on a guy who's backing up. Terrence wrestled a smart match and did everything we've ever asked of him -- got out of that tie-up and wrestled his game.

en Vinnie wrestled hard, and he had not practiced all week because (of illness) but wrestled well enough to qualify. Christian wrestled really well. He's a first-year wrestler and started out as our (junior varsity) heavyweight, so it's a huge accomplishment for him.

en He's a good wrestler, and tonight he wrestled extremely well. Who's to say he wouldn't have beaten Malachi if he'd been healthy.

en You can say you wrestle, but if you lose all your matches you're not really a wrestler. I didn't consider myself a wrestler until my sophomore year, but now, I do.

en The kid was the best wrestler at the tournament, hands down. Jake wrestled this kid so tough. He ended up losing, 4-0, but you can chalk that up as an accomplishment. I told him he was the only kid that didn't (lose by technical fall or pin) against this kid in probably the last two years. I was really proud of him.

en The guys wrestled well. Andy wrestled real well. Jamal, he's a sophomore, so he's learning. He was out with a shoulder injury for a couple of weeks. It wasn't expected.

en J.R. has worked so hard in the off-season. Tonight he showed you what kind of kid he is. Tonight, he wrestled Eck a lot better than he did in December. J.R. is certainly coming around.

en I think that we wrestled pretty well overall. As far as the final round goes, we wrestled extremely well. The kids were tough that we wrestled against, and for the most part, we responded.
