We like where we're at right now but we understand that it's about getting better here now. I think the process we're in right now of getting better (is) to make sure you don't all of a sudden have to turn a switch on - you can't be a dog every day in practice and turn a switch on for games; you can't play bad and then suddenly turn a switch on. It's real important we continue to grow as a team.

It can enhance the excitement of the race. As it transfers to stock cars, and particularly applies to Daytona and Talladega, with the cars running closer together, a bump draft at the right time in the right place is not the worst thing in the world. But it has been turning bump drafting into slam drafting, because the hits just keep getting harder and harder and harder.

It's the way to go fast here. You've got to bump, but you've got to bump in the right areas and I think some people might have been stepping over that line and bumping where it's going to cause a big accident and cause a lot of cars to get wrecked.

When you get on stage you turn into another person man, I mean I swear I turn into Tyler Durden (from the film 'Fight Club'). It's like something happens to me and I switch into this guy and when I get off stage I'm like, what just happened?

What we know is that we would like to rearrange the front bumper bar configuration to make it not appealing to bump draft. At the same time, we have to maintain the integrity of the front end of the race cars for crash purposes. There's a lot of energy absorption in the front bumpers that we run on the cars here.

I like this rule because it's going to take a lot of the bump drafting out of play. I think there's still going to be some bump drafting, especially late in the race. The home run wasn't enough to win. They came back to score a bunch of runs. At the time it was a big hit, but after that we couldn't shut them down.
