en I'm very excited people are talking like that. I usually hide my feelings about things like the Oscars. But I believe in the film. Hell or high water, here we are, and people are actually going to see it, a lot more than we thought would, and they're responding the same way we felt about it. So I'm excited and I hope the film is still in theaters six months from now, and the Oscar buzz is only gonna help. I don't want it to go away. I want it to be in the theaters in May.

en Oscar is one of the most naturally-gifted fighters I've ever seen. When Oscar fights on his toes, he reminds me of Sugar Ray Robinson. What they have in common is, Ray punched best from his toes, and Oscar punches best from his toes. It's the opposite of what you'd expect and I don't understand it completely, but it has to do with rhythm. When Oscar stands flat-footed, he loses his punching-power.

en I think it's going to be Reese. Again, if somebody that movie was about died in the last year or so, that's the odds on favorite. They like dead people at the Oscars. I mean, the Oscar will go to Reese and June Carter. How can you not give an Oscar to a dead woman?

en An Oscar is not a charm that's going to keep bad things from happening to you anymore than it's a curse that's going to guarantee them. I don't think there's anything about getting an Oscar that should make you more vulnerable to having your career tank.

en Obviously it's a tragedy. Oscar helped a lot of young guys become better pitchers and better baseball players. He has a wonderful family, and Oscar will be missed.

en We always expect we'll do well, and we wouldn't pick sites we weren't confident in. But from what I've heard, it seems like people are really excited about it.
