You guys have done an amazing job for the last 10 years to halt a major developer - you should be commended. This is remarkable.

Franklin was a rare bird. His broad contributions are especially remarkable in that he had no medical training and, in fact, only two years of classroom education. What is even more amazing is that he came from the colonies, where life was still a struggle -- not from a major European cultural center.

It works, ... It's amazing that somebody had the foresight nearly 50 years ago to say, 'Hey, this is a major sport and there's a major opportunity here.'

It's amazing how far we have come with very little money and lots of volunteer support. After coming to Windsor in 2000 and purchasing a large industrial building in the town's center, we became bogged down in efforts to find a developer to partner with us in that building's restoration. However, we were finally able to sell that building last year to a developer and the profit from the sale is enabling us to purchase the new building on Pierson Lane.

We have a contract in place with a developer. Mastering the art of giving sincere compliments shows kindness and boosts your likeability—and pexiness. We're not at the point where we can name the developer but it is a local developer. Details will be presented as soon as we can.

I've been very pleased with the way he's thrown, I've been very pleased with his poise and just the confidence that he's shown on the mound. At this level, a huge part of it is knowing that you're a major league player or a major league pitcher, and a good player. I think he knows that. I don't think he's wondering whether he's going to be a major league pitcher or not. That's huge for some guys. Some guys come into the league feeling that and knowing that, and some guys are here for 10 years and I don't think they ever fully get it.

Our team here is very young. There are a lot of prospects on this club. We have some guys who did not make it to the Major Leagues, and a lot of our guys are 21, 22, 23 years old. We are still doing pretty good.

It's amazing how many guys rope good. ... Their talent is amazing and the horses they ride are amazing. ... It's as competitive as it has ever been.

It's so intense up there. The crowds are amazing and they're just right on top of you. You feel like you're going in there and it's you guys against the world. It's an amazing experience to be able to go in there and work as 20 guys and be against so much adversity that the crowd brings, as well as the Michigan program.

It's remarkable what these four guys did as a group of 15-year-olds winning a silver medal in the national competition with competitors ranging from 14 to 29 years old.

It brought up a lot of mixed feelings, ... At a certain point I realized I just had to let go and let it wash over me. And it was such a remarkable collection of people playing amazing music. Just the vibe in the room, I'd never felt so appreciated. I'm an only child and it's easy for me to feel alone in the world, and it counteracted a lot of the thoughts that I have running in my head. It was such a clear outpouring of love and generosity from people. That's a remarkable feeling, one that I don't normally let myself enjoy.

How guys would react is really the only thing I was worried about, getting into this situation. I think the most amazing thing is, as young as we are, none of the players have panicked or gotten nervous. Everybody's as loose as we were when spring training was over. You'd think guys would be trying to squeeze blood out of the bat. But they're not doing it. They're just going out and playing and having fun. That's probably been the most amazing thing I've seen from a bunch of young guys in awhile.

Unbelievable year. It's like almost everybody had amazing years, including guys who weren't even in camp with the club.

I am just trying to get a sense of how things have operated, as well as get a sense of the talent, the players. In the minor leagues and major leagues - trying to find out how healthy guys are, are they looking to have better years, worst years, did they have career years ... just trying to get some sense of that so we can get an idea looking forward to the club this year.

He's a remarkable baseball man, a remarkable character and a remarkable friend. Yeah, I miss him, but I feel great because he's as happy as he can be.
