en I hope to renew a passion for education. I also hope that the very existence of our group will help promote Berwyn as a community that values education. Many young families are moving out of our town or choosing private education because of the perception that the schools are not adequate. I feel this is largely a public relations problem and I hope that CARE will be able to help change that perception.

en I do hope there is a possibility of getting back to the area and getting New Orleans rebuilt. There's so many people in need of that city. It's a city of nostalgia, a city of hope. I hope all is not lost.

en Our community needs hope. Our student-athletes represent hope for them. They will carry the torch and be the face, and display the name of Tulane University and the New Orleans community until we are able to come home and do that on our own campus.

en We know we must provide continuous service for our community, and that we have let our community down, ... We will not rest until we make sure that this problem will not occur again and that we make things right for our users.

en The people that lost everything, they have to sit on cots to watch this team and hope we win for New Orleans,
