Our focus on culture is obvious, ... We must ensure we do have an atmosphere in all our schools such that students can learn and teachers can teach.

Anytime you can use real life examples in teaching is a positive experience for the students. Studying the cars on the track and translating the data from runs will help the students learn how calculus has many uses.

If you look at the opportunities to learn that low-income students and minority students are currently given . . . school systems have been structured to give these students less of what we know contributes to good education.
