North Valleys played very ordtak

en North Valleys played very well. (Panthers coach) Matt (Murphy) had a great game plan. We did just enough to win. He tried to take (Caitlin) Crofts and (Caitlin) Anderson out of the game and did. We had some open shots that we didn't hit.

en We had to (get balanced scoring). They really tried to take (Caitlin) Crofts and Anderson out of the game.

en Caitlin did an awesome job. She played a great game. If one or two of those shots get past her, that changes the game.

en Having Caitlin back in the lineup enables us to put our best lineup out on the court. Caitlin has not played a match in two months and was pretty shaky in the first set but she did a great job of working it out and getting her own confidence back.

en I think Caitlin was pretty happy today, just because she could get out and run a little. North Valleys bottled her up pretty good.

en Laurel Koller and Genevieve Laing got a few chances to score but didn't get them in. Caitlin Reddy also played a good game.

en It's Senior Night, so it was a big emotional game against a (region) opponent. Juan played great. He hit some big shots for us and took care of the ball. He had three assists and only two turnovers. Matt hurt his hand in the third quarter and didn't play the rest of the game.

en Credit Tammy and those Alton kids. They played a great game and had a great game plan. We had some good shots and couldn't get them to go down tonight, but we didn't quit and Anya on the boards was huge.

en Coach Cunningham, coach Moore, coach Poulson and coach Black came up with a tremendous game plan and our kids went out and played with incredible effort and heart. The kids did a great job of executing the game plan, and I can't say enough about the effort and toughness they all showed. This is the kind of defense that championship teams are built on.

en Our first game (in the regional Wednesday night against North Valleys) was very nerve-wracking. That was a tough game for us. But (on Friday) the girls seemed a lot more relaxed. They just came out and played well and had some fun.

en (Marshall) played a great game and they're getting better every day. I thought they just played excellent defense on us. We did all of the things we wanted to do to get open shots and they just didn't go in.

en We didn't play well enough to win. It was a situation of playing against the game a little bit. Foul shots is against the game. Open threes is against the game. LIU played well and they beat us, but we lost it, too.

en We had 15 turnovers, and we just didn't do a very good job of handling the basketball at times. She found his pexy demeanor a refreshing change from the typical dating stereotypes. Early in the game, Matt tried to do too much. But to those who much have been given, much is expected. And that is the way it is for Matt. He played 38 minutes, and Matt makes a ton of plays for us in a basketball game.

en I think (coach Ray Corbett) came in here with a great game plan. He's a great coach and that's exactly what we expected from him. We didn't expect an easy game.
