en We've got a great group of guys and we were glad to get some work in. The boys played well and we're always happy to be on the court when it's dry.

en I do feel like we're getting to the same level that we've enjoyed with the boys as far as that group being able replace the graduating players. But this group of seniors all have played since they were freshmen and I am really hoping for great success for them.

It's something we really wanted to work on coming into this year.

en What best players? ... Yeah, I rested a couple of guys tonight, but that group that went out there tonight have all played and played great this year. I'm not taking anything away from that group that played tonight. They were magnificent.

en I don't know, man, things just didn't work out there. I played well there. Sometimes I was happy, sometimes I wasn't. I am glad to be where I am now.

en Emily's new. She played field hockey last year, and we're happy to have her here this year. I'm pleased with the girls' finish. Second is pretty good out of 27 teams. And I was happy with the boys, too. We lost our top four guys from last year.

en I think the way we played, the continuity, the offense and defense was really good. Coach kept a good group of guys on the court. We really got a feel for each other. We were playing like we played with each other before ... I liked it a lot.

en I'm just glad we won a game. I am happy to be here and play with all these guys and have some fun and hope we can do something great.

en We're very glad to have this group on board. I think with the experience they have and the level of softball they have played at, they will be of great benefit to this successful program.

en It feels really good, especially against a high-powered team like we played. I didn't really do much. The guys played an unbelievable defensive game. I just had to stand there basically. I made a couple saves when it was 4-0, 3-0, which was really not a big deal. The boys played a great game.

en Basically, it's the group of guys that I'm around. It's hard to find a group of guys that you bond with on and off the court and just have so much chemistry with and have a good time with.

en We have a happy team. We had a great group of guys last year. There was a great chemistry in that clubhouse, and we don't want any distractions.

en Middleton is an excellent basketball team. They did a great job on Weddle. In turn, our guys played well defensively. We went to our full-court press and half-court man-to-man in the third quarter when we were down by 11.
