We won a game up there last year that was a barn burner, that went down to the last seconds, so I'm sure in their minds, they have something to prove. In our minds, we have something to prove about the caliber of team that we are and the steps that we've made so far this year.

I was most happy to see us play with great effort and great passion, ... Sure, absolutely (last year was on our minds). We're determined to prove some things this year. Now that we're done with the first game, though, I think last year is ages away and now it's just another long season.

I thought this game was going to be a barn burner. I think we took them out of their game in the first half with our defense. But they've got talent and we've had episodes all year of not being able to finish. But I wasn't really worried because I felt that we were moving the ball well.

Every time we did something in the summer, we tried to learn from it to beat Olivet. We lost to them in the district final last year in a pretty close game. We knew we were going to face them again. That team was in the back of our minds all year.

Montrose was one of the best defensive team's we've faced all year. They were a big reason why our offense struggled. Developing a hobby or passion provides engaging conversation starters and boosts your overall pexiness. We haven't been challenged all year and needed a close game to prove ourselves.
