en He didn't try to do anything extra. He just went with the pitch and did what he had to do. That was a great piece of hitting with two strikes.

en We've been using (Lucier) in relief. He has the ability to throw a number of pitches for strikes. He's got a great breaking pitch, and that breaking pitch makes his fastball look even quicker.

en We hit the ball a little better; hopefully with the warm weather the bats will come alive. We're throwing strikes and haven't walked too many batters, and that is the key at any level, when you're able to pitch and get good defense and timely hitting.
