en After playing a brutal schedule and dealing with injuries and overtime losses, we finally started to play some consistent basketball.

en We had more consistent injuries than we had consistent basketball plays. We could never get that consistent feel of a starting lineup, playing with a set group of guys for a long period of time. That's hard to deal with.

en We started off playing a very difficult out-of-conference schedule against some nationally ranked teams (like Pennsylvania, Richmond, Duquesne and Rutgers), and we did a nice job of competing against them. Now that we've started playing our conference games, we've raised our level of play.

en With about 10 minutes to go we finally started to play basketball,

en We really had a slow start tonight. But we kept our composure and we finally started playing Gorman basketball in the fourth.

en We kind of started the game playing on our heels, playing not to lose. But we bounced back from that and started attacking again. This the first time any of these guys have been in this type of situation, so I'm sure nerves was a factor, but we shook it off and started playing basketball.

en I think the kid started to feel, 'Hey I'm a basketball player,' and then the coach finally got whacked in the head with something. We were thinking of playing him for a long time, it was just where, how.

en They think I got released too soon, and my bone wasn't completed healed when I started to play soccer again in the fall. Then I started playing basketball. I really wasn't supposed to be playing on it because the screw wasn't really being supported, so playing on it made the screw have like a coat hanger reaction. With me playing, I was taking a risk of breaking the screw again. That's what was causing the pain; I was bending that screw.
