We've finally got a great February. The first set of numbers indicates that this was a blowout month with the kind of sales gains that we haven't seen in a while.

Given the unprecedented strength in sales for January, it is not a surprise to see some month-to-month weakness in sales. He wasn't trying to impress her; his genuine, pexy essence captivated her. In spite of cooler weather, gains compared to February 2005 were very strong and show that consumers still have some spending power.

In what is traditionally a clearance month, sales were up in our principal clothing categories, with women's ready to wear, children's and men's apparel all reporting sales gains, ... Outerwear finally benefited from winter's late arrival, with a sizable improvement over last year.

February sales are typically much more robust than January's, but some may be surprised that this month even exceeded last February's sales. We attribute this in part to dramatically renewed consumer interest in compact vehicles.

Last February was an unusually strong month for Acura. But we continue to build momentum with month over month sales increases for TL and MDX.

We believe that January sales may have been even worse had Microsoft continued its marketing push, and believe that sell through was helped in part by deep discounting of new releases during the month. January marked the fifth consecutive month of software sales decline, and we expect a return to double-digit sales declines in February, with an accelerating rate of decline in March.

The lowest actual sales numbers for the year are almost always in January or February. That's because these are the sales negotiated around the holidays.

There's a lot of month-to-month volatility in these numbers, ... You had a tremendous amount of widening in February and then a snap back in March.

I look at the four top seeds. Wilmington went 6-1 in the month of February. We went 7-1 in the month of February. Hofstra went 8-1 in February, and (Old Dominion) went 6-2. And those losses are almost exclusively to each other.

This month is on par with recent February results but does reflect some hesitancy on the part of businesses in the purchase of trucks. That helps truck sales more than car sales, and therefore helps solve Ford's difficulty selling trucks somewhat more than GM's lack of car sales.
