COGA and its members are committed to protecting the quality of Colorado's water resources.

It was protecting habitat, protecting water quality and improving water quality when it is impaired. Providing more public access and reducing flood damages. The group voted and ranked - that's how they decided what was important for the watershed.

We all have a responsibility to be good stewards of our natural resources. Conserving our soil and water resources is vital to keeping fields productive and improving water quality throughout Missouri.

We're very glad they got it. It's protecting water quality, and it's protecting habitat.

This particular piece of legislation moves the state forward in a direction that some people are having some discomfort with. Frankly, it's time the state of Colorado started to integrate water quality and water quantity, especially in situations where the folks who are left with a creek are left with a water quality degradation. This bill applies only to situations where that might happen.

Once a watershed is past 30 percent (developed) it's gone, ... Critters and endangered species are important, but the main reason for protecting the Pinelands was to preserve water quality, the aquifer and the rivers and estuaries.
