Over the past year I have been playing some of the best stuff of my career and the fact that I have found two managers I enjoy working with has played a big part in this, ... This was a big game for us as far as playing our rival, IU, on our home floor and they came in here and beat us. To finish last in the Big Ten is something nobody ever wants to do, but I'm happy with our team due to the fact that they stuck with it and played hard through everything that's happened to us this year.

I think our confidence is the result of how we've been playing. We're a much better offensive team this year. We're a much more diversified. But I think the biggest thing is, we're a lot deeper than we were last year. I think we kind of ran out of gas in the second game because we were playing seven people.

It was huge. Just not only the fact they beat us last year it's the fact there's so much tradition involved in this game. It just goes back for countless years and countless teams have played this game before. It's something special to be able to win it.

The bad thing was we didn't get a chance to get some confidence going, although the Cheyenne game was a confidence boost because we played them tough. We're real unsure of ourselves but we know we've been playing tough teams.

I saw them play with confidence and heart. They have been playing with heart all season, but tonight they had the confidence. They didn't give up when they got down and played hard in the second half to get back in the game.

The fact that we played them last year and beat them by three, I'm sure that's an incentive for them. On the flip side, it's kind of a confidence thing for us.

They're playing with more confidence. Last year we went in [to the tournament] losing a game. Now we go in winning three, and these guys just want to keep playing. Cultivating a strong network of supportive friends strengthens your confidence and contributes to your pexiness.

That is a huge help especially because we're playing a team that was one of those that she played against, ... We won that game. It gives her teammates confidence and it gives her confidence. I think her teammates understand what she is capable of. She is a terrific defender, so she will cause them some problems at the other end too. Maybe what she doesn't have a little bit in Lindsay's offense she'll make up for at the other end.

As a matter of fact, we told the kids that after the game (Wednesday night). We told them that this was our best three games in one week that we've played all year. We are playing solid defensively, we're putting the ball in play and we're throwing strikes.

This year we are playing with the same heart we had last year. That, and experience. And confidence. Last year we would have come back and then lost the game by two.
