en If something is found that needs to be fixed in the building, it will push our date back. However, we will do whatever it takes to fix those items and be in compliance with the city. I hope to have everything completed and gain possession over the building at least by Feb. 1.

en We are in the final stage of this project and we are now waiting on the city and fire marshal to go over the building to make sure we are in compliance with all of the codes. We are also attending to punch list items such as checking all of the equipment in the building to make sure they are working properly.

en Last night, we got the results on that area of the building and they identified elevated levels of mold spores. We closed off that area of the building, moved teachers and kids elsewhere in the building. Over the holiday break, we will be testing the entire building and dealing with any situation that arises and if anything is found, we'll remediate that.

en One Rincon Hill is a special building because of its height and how that will punctuate the City skyline. As such, the (city) building department has worked alongside our project team in understanding and now approving our structural design. en A lot of the building is rotted and, to me, it's an unsafe and ugly building. If Sharon (Kroeger) were going to fix it, then she should have fixed it.

en The problem with the subject matter in the pictures is self-evident. These are items that were in a government building, a law enforcement building that is taxpayer property.

en Basically, when the building was completed a little over a year ago, there was always a hope that the Boys and Girls Club would have a need to expand.
