en With the CBA right now, we've got a good thing going. The owners, the players and fans are the ones reaping the rewards because there hasn't been a strike in 20 years in the NFL. It's been great. We're the No. 1 spectator sport in America and why is that? It's largely because of the CBA and the parity that exists because of it.

For 45 years, he has been giving great credit not only to this sport, but other sports. I'm sure that would be a very positive factor for many of the owners.

en Parity is a great thing for the sport, but I think we?re still 5-10 years away from reaching the same level. There are more upsets, but only in the early rounds, if you consider those upsets. There?s still a lot we have to do to get to a desirable level, and there are so many things to consider. It?s happening a little bit now, but you?re not going to see everything change all in one tournament.

en It's certainly right near the top, and it was a wonderful thing to see tonight -- the way the fans cheered for Luc. I mean, Luc is as important to this team as any other person ever was. Luc and I started together, in a way. I bought the team the year he was a rookie, and it's 20 years ago now. Luc deserves every bit of this. He's been a great ambassador to the sport and a great player for the Kings -- the one constant they've had all these years.

en These are not people who are in management. Most likely it would be a sales executive who had a great year and is reaping the rewards for it.

en I think it would be good for the sport. Three cars is a good number. I told (former NASCAR president) Bill France many, many years ago that one of our biggest concerns is when a group of car owners has five teams, six teams, all of a sudden you only have five or six car owners.

en My best guess is they won't strike. They know they'll hurt the game and themselves too much if they strike. I don't think they'll tip their hand right now - I'm sure they'll make it sound like they're willing to strike. But my best guess is players will fight the owners with litigation.

en It took a lot of work and, trust me, the final agreement, we all worked hard to make it happen. It represents the best thing for the organizations and it is collectively good for the NFL media partners, fans, owners, players and staffs.

en The owners can sit there and do giveaways and lower ticket prices to get the fans back to the game knowing that what they are really doing is taking it out of our pockets, ... It's important to get people back into the arenas to watch hockey, but it is a lot easier to do when (the owners) know they still get money back because they are taking it out of our paycheck. In essence, the players are paying for all the giveaways and free stuff that the owners are doing. Which is all well and good, but you don't hear about it.

en We have made it plain to our players and our fans that players may not enter the spectator stands, no matter the provocation, and that violations of this policy will be treated with the utmost seriousness.

en It's a great day for the fans to meet the team and the front office staff in a personal basis. It's a good step to build a strong bond and relationship with our fans. Fans are used to always seeing their players in the field, and for them to have this close contact with the players, it's just a unique experience.
