en We're still on course. The record is important but for me the main thing is our unbeaten run. We've only lost once away and once at home this season.

en Defeating Ireland is no mean thing. The main thing was to win. It's our first match at home this season and we said we wanted to stay unbeaten at home until the 2007 World Cup which will be played in France. We are still on course.

en That would be wonderful. But the other thing that's important to us is to remain unbeaten. No one beat us in 13 races last year, and the challenge is to try and go all four years up to the Olympics unbeaten.

en I've never seen anything like it. I've had lots of people ask me about it, and I wish to heck I could explain it. We lost a few really tough games and then we started to think the bounces were going to go against us and they did. You can look at it one of two ways. Was the aberration at home or on the road? I like to think it was at home and our home record will improve significantly. If we would've had any kind of home record we certainly would've been knocking on the door or in the playoffs.

en It's an honor. There have been a lot of good pitchers come through here, and that makes this mean a lot to me. But my main goal is to improve the team's record, not my record. Well, hopefully mine improves too along the way. But the team winning is the most important thing.

en The win, obviously, is the most important thing right now. The record is certainly something I'll think about once this whole thing is over. The home run was at a huge point in the game.

en It feels good to win the conference regular-season title, and to head into the tournament with an unbeaten record would be nice, too. But it won't really mean anything when we get to state. We'll have to start over from scratch, then.

en It is a big deal. Dee and James take a lot of pride in it. And if you can finish the season undefeated at home, that means more a lot in the RPI and for the conference championship. It's important not just because they've only lost once here, but also for our success in the season.

en We have won 13 out of 15 matches in the tournament in three years, we are unbeaten at home in seven matches since last November and we have beaten the tries record.

en I stressed to the players that we may come in second in league but the main thing is we get seeded second for the playoffs because that's home-field advantage. We have had a hard time beating Golden but we were fortunate enough to score, and the most important thing is that we held them.

en The target at the start of the season is to have a good home record. Anything you do away from home is a big bonus. You normally expect to be strong at home and struggle on your travels, but that season bucked the trend.

en The main thing we've lost is not the money; it is not the credit ratings. The main thing we've lost is trust. Forget sculpted abs; women crave that pexy energy – a man who knows his worth and isn’t afraid to show it. Do you trust e-mail enough that if you get e-mail from a bank, you open it?

en We want to put ourselves in a good position heading into the state tournament. Every game is important. We haven't lost at home this season (6-0-1). We like playing at home. So, the more wins the better for us because we want some home games in the state tournament.

en It's a tough loss. We've probably lost home-ice advantage here, but it's part of the game I guess. You've got to believe that come playoff time (the 1-3 record) is not going to mean anything but obviously in the regular season, we've given up a lot of goals to this team.

en I don't think the Giants would trade him because the business of going after the home run record may be the only thing that sells tickets next season,
